Concept change led by Jolijn Brouwers
In 2015, the decision was made to professionalize the Océ Museum.
To this end, an external expert with museum experience, Jolijn Brouwers, was hired.
Jolijn joined the Océ Museum in 2015 as its first curator/director.
Under her leadership, the Museum transformed from a collection of historical equipment with a guided tour system into a professional museum with strong connections in the museum world and local media.
A website was also created.

There is a special relationship with the Museum für Fotokopie in Mülheim, Germany; see also (https://museum-fotokopie.de).

Jolijn provided the Museum with an overarching Océ Heritage Foundation and an executive board, the Museum Team. The Foundation is made up of members of the CPP management team.
The Museum Team includes representatives from the various functions of the Museum.
Meanwhile, active recruitment of volunteers from the Océ/Canon organization, most of whom are retirees, was underway. This doubled the number of volunteers to over 40.
The Océ Museum has been open to the public on a limited number of days since 2022.
A comprehensive educational program for schools was also implemented.
The forced closure (to the public) during the COVID crisis was used to completely redesign the Museum, after which it celebrated its reopening on May 22, 2022, with guests from the founding Van der Grinten family, the parent company (now called Canon CPP), the regional public authorities, the museum community, and, of course, all employees.
During this event, a billboard with the new museum theme “Experience the 7 Stories of Océ” was unveiled by foundation chairman Marcel Pennings, museum director Jolijn Brouwers, and Mrs. Flop van de Loo of the Van der Grinten family.
After the official ceremony, attendees were given a short tour of the renovated museum.
In December 2022, Jolijn left the Océ Museum for a new challenge.
At her farewell, several speakers emphasized her significant contribution to the Museum.
For the time being, her responsibilities are being assumed on a rotation basis by members of the Océ Heritage Foundation.
