Historic automobiles visiting the Océ Museum

On Sunday, August 27, 2023, the Océ Museum was stage place in the “Borderline Memorial Event”.

The drivers and their passengers were welcomed with coffee and “vlaai”, and a semi-oldtimer food truck offered “frikandels” and pizzas.

This rally of historic cars was organized in memory of the first ride of an automobile in the Netherlands, which took place in Venlo, exactly 130 years ago.

The car in question was the Benz Patentwagen 3 Rad owned by Richard Freudenberg from Süchteln.
